How we handle your customer, order and subscription information.
The Happy Hen Co collects the information needed to process orders, manage subscriptions, deliver products and provide customer support.
When you ask us to apply a first-order promotion, we use your email address and paid-order history to check eligibility, prevent repeat use and keep an audit record of the redemption. After purchase, we also compare the email and delivery address saved from Stripe with earlier paid 50% one-off offer orders, across voucher codes, to highlight possible repeat use for admin review. These flags do not automatically block payment, change pricing or delay dispatch, and are not shared with affiliates.
Affiliate subscription links can place a sanitised offer code in temporary session storage so it remains available while you complete your basket. This is an essential pricing preference, not advertising tracking, and manual code entry remains available. The code does not contain your identity.
After a discounted subscription Checkout payment completes, we use the customer email and delivery address supplied to Stripe to compare against successfully paid subscription history. A possible previous subscriber or household match is flagged for manual admin review; it does not automatically change customer pricing or fulfilment. Affiliate reports and future affiliate access do not expose customer names, email addresses, delivery addresses, postcodes or Stripe identifiers.
If you apply to become an affiliate, we use the identity, contact, audience and public-profile information you submit to assess the application and administer the programme. Approved affiliates use short-lived email access links; portal sessions and acceptance of the current programme documents are recorded for security and accountability. Request network identifiers are stored only as keyed, non-reversible fingerprints where they are needed for abuse prevention or acceptance evidence. Affiliate bank details are handled outside this website.
Payments and subscription billing are handled securely by Stripe. We do not store card details on this website.
We use optional analytics and marketing cookies only if you accept them. This can include Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and TikTok Pixel. These services help us understand which pages and products people view, when products are added to a basket, when checkout starts and whether an order is completed. They also help us measure advertising performance and build or measure advertising audiences.
If you arrive through a tagged advert, social post, creator link, email or partner link after accepting optional cookies, we may retain campaign fields, the creator code, the landing page and the referring website's domain. We use these to compare the first recorded source with the latest campaign touch before checkout. Campaign links must not contain your name, email address or other personal information.
When the Meta Pixel is enabled, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited may receive page and shopping-event information, product identifiers, quantities, order value and currency, along with technical information such as browser details, IP address and Meta cookie identifiers. We do not include customer names, email addresses, postal addresses, card details or Stripe Checkout Session identifiers in Meta events. Meta may use the information under its own privacy terms, including for advertising measurement and personalisation.
When the TikTok Pixel is enabled, TikTok may receive the same page and shopping-event information, including product identifiers, quantities, order value and currency, along with ordinary browser and request identifiers. We do not include customer names, email addresses, postal addresses, card details or Stripe Checkout Session identifiers in TikTok events. TikTok may use this information under its own privacy terms for advertising measurement, audience building and personalisation.
Optional analytics and marketing scripts are not loaded until you accept optional cookies. Your choice is remembered in your browser. You can change or withdraw it at any time using the cookie settings button on the website; rejecting or withdrawing consent does not affect essential basket, checkout, payment or account features.
We use customer email addresses for order confirmations, fulfilment updates, subscription management links and direct customer service. Admin/internal order notifications are sent to hello@thehappyhenco.co.uk.
If you actively select the marketing-email option before checkout, we may also email you helpful Live Calci Worm tips, relevant offers and subscription updates. The option is not selected by default. We keep a record of when and where you gave that preference, and you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe option in a marketing email or by contacting hello@thehappyhenco.co.uk.
We may use Trustpilot to invite customers to give honest feedback about their purchase. When this service is enabled, we share the customer's name, email address and an internal order reference with Trustpilot so it can schedule and manage the invitation and associate any resulting review with a genuine experience. Trustpilot handles this information under its own privacy terms, and each invitation includes a way to stop receiving further review invitations.
If you want to ask about your data, update your details or request deletion where legally possible, email hello@thehappyhenco.co.uk.
