How to use
Use the format that fits the job
Scatter lightly around the plant base, keep away from crowns and stems, and water in.
Mix lightly with compost, leaf mould, bark fines, coir, spent compost or garden compost.
Apply to soil, water in, allow time before harvest and wash produce before eating.
Use dry and coarse as a trial surface dressing. Treat as grower observation, not guaranteed control.
Scatter 1-2 small handfuls per m2, lightly work into the topsoil and water in.
Apply around the root zone or dripline, not against crowns, stems or trunks.
Mix lightly into backfill or the top few centimetres of compost. Use sparingly in containers.
Use around fruit, vegetables and herbs with the same soil-only approach. Use cautiously around acid-loving plants.
What is Superfrass?
Superfrass is made from the frass of black soldier fly larvae. Frass is mainly insect manure, with small fragments of shed larval skin and fine residual organic matter.
It should be understood first as a soil conditioner, not as a quick chemical feed. Moisture and soil microbes help break it down and make nutrients available to plants.
