How many calci worms should I feed my hens?

The easy answer is 10g per hen per day—enough to create a lively daily treat ritual without replacing balanced layers feed.
A simple daily portion
Our flock-sized weekly packs do the calculation for you, so all you need to do is scatter the portion and enjoy the reaction. Two hens receive 140g for seven days, five hens receive 350g, and ten hens receive 700g.
Live Calci Worms are a complementary treat, not a complete feed. Keep balanced layers feed and fresh water available, keep all treats to no more than 15% of total feed, and spread the worms around so every hen has fair access.
Make the portion work harder
Scatter the worms around the run instead of placing them in one pile. The movement gives hens something to search for, chase and peck, turning a measured daily portion into a more active treat time.
